"Look at the little guy. He's terrified."
"Don't poke him, then."
"But it's fun!"
"No, it's not. Leave him alone. He'll come out when he's ready."
"Maybe he needs to be pushed."
"I don't think so. Just leave him, I said!"
"But I don't want to wait! I'm not a patient person, you know this!"
"You have to be."
"I'll just find something else to play with then."
"Sure. Like you always do. Easier than to actually wait around, right?"
"I'm just not a fan of waiting games, that's all."
"It's not a game. Look at him! He's scared, for crying out loud!"
"How do you know?"
"It's quite easy to see. Let's make a deal. Don't poke him, don't irritate him, go for a little walk and come back and then we'll see how he is, okay?"
"Fine. But I'll be running in circles around you during that walk."
"Fine."
