"Let's put her in this box."
"Isn't that cruel?"
"It's just for a while."
The two boys put the little glowing fairy into the little box. She screamed and yelled at them, demanding them to release her wings so she could go about her day. But her screams only sounded like cute squeeks to them.
"It's just an experiment."
"Yeah, okay, we really gotta show her to Miss Green tomorrow."
The two boys put the lid on the box and the little fairy was engulfed in darkness. She hoped her screams would alert other fairies around. She heard the flutter of wings nearby but it didn't seem like her fellow fairies cared about her being trapped.
She started kicking the walls of the box. Harder and harder.
Eventually she found a little hole in the corner. She tried pulling it bigger by using her hands but ended up having to use her teeth until it had come apart so much she could pull it open.
By the time she could crawl through the gap in the corner of the box it was morning and the two boys had returned and watched her crawl out of the box. They tried to catch her as she ran across the table but she spat her acidic spit on them and they started screaming.
She called out her special emergency call and a huge butterfly came swooshing through the open window and caught her as she jumped off the table and flew her away to her hometown where the Medicine Fairy would help her get the net off her wings carefully.
