Once upon a time there was a girl who didn't want to speak her own language anymore. So she stopped and took up a new one. It frustrated her family and friends extremely, because the language she took up could only be understood by wolves. And after years of struggling to understand her her parents finally banished her and she went into the woods. There she met a little wolf. It was not part of any pack because it was small and weak. The two became immediate friends and lived together for a few years until one day the Alpha wolf approached the girl. He told her that if she wanted to join their pack she would have to sacrifice her weak little wolf friend to their God by next full moon. She immediately refused, but the old Alpha was a very persuasive wolf and kept luring her to do it wihh promises of a rich life in a pack who would protect and understand her, so much unlike how her own family had treated her. She found herself spell bound by the old wolfs words and over the next month she collected the things she needed for the sacrifice. On the night of the full moon she lured her little friend onto the highest hill in the woods, telling him it was the best spot to howl at the moon. She watched her little friend howl with joy as they reached the peak. She slid the knife from her little bag and into her hand behind her back. But just as she was about to strike, she heard a voice. "Why are you doing this child?" the voice asked. She looked around not knowing where the voice came from. Was it the moon? Was it the trees? The spirits? "How can you abandon the family who accepted you when you were nothing?" the voice spoke again. She looked at her friend still gleefully howling and smiling at her. It couldnt have been him who said it. Was it the old Alpha? It hadn't sounded like him. "If you go on you will never live with a pure heart again. Don't let the pain brought onto you pass onto others. Be stronger than the pain." the voice continued. And she realised the voice was coming from her heart. Awwwwwwwwww.
