"I see you took the picture down."

"It's been so many years, I didn't see the point of it hanging there anymore."

"But now there's just a mark from where it used to hang."

"So?"

"So? That's ugly, you should change it."

"Change it why?"

"Change it why? Change it because it looks bad."

"I don't care."

"I think you do."

"You don't know what I think."

"No, but I have a pretty good guess."

"Hm."

"You could just put another photo in the frame."

"I burned it."

"Burned it?"

"Burned it."

"Oh my. You are dramatic sometimes."

"Mh."

"Well, you could go buy yourself another frame and put up another picture. Maybe one of me?"

"And why would I have one of you?"

"Why you would have one of me? You do amuse me."

"Hm."

"I just can't stand it to look at that spot."

"Then don't look at it."

"I can't. It draws attention to itself with all its emptiness."

"Then be glad you don't live here."

"But what if I did?"

"What are you suggesting?"

"Nothing, I guess. It was a silly idea of mine."

"Hm."

"I have extra frames at home. You wouldn't even have to buy one."

"Can you please just drop it? It is what it is."

"It doesn't have to be."

"Sometimes it does."

"Sometimes it doesn't."

"I think you should finish your coffee."

"I don't."

"You are stubborn."

"I'll die stubborn. I'll bring you a new frame tomorrow."

"I'm not home tomorrow."

"Too bad. You're getting that frame."
