"This is your last piece of candy, young lady!" Maddy said to her 6 year old daughter Mia. Unfortunately, Mia had a compact flame thrower in her right hand and as she stared her mother in the eyes she fired it up towards the ceiling burning a hole in the roof. Her little brother had been waiting upstairs with a robe tied to the heaviest dresser there was in house. He threw it down to his older sister. "Good work, Will." Mia said and grabbed the bag of candy and held onto it with her teeth and quickly started climbing up the rope with amazing speed. "Get back down here! Both of you!" their mother yelled up the hole at the two little grinning faces. Mia high fived her little brother who pressed play on his phone and the theme song from Mission Impossible started playing from the transportable speaker Mia had in her backpack. Maddy turned around on her heel and went to the stairs to get a hold of the little troublemakers. Mia and Will heard their mother's determined steps and ran to the window where they jumped out and into a massive hay stack they had paid the farmer next door to place there after his work day was done. Their mother looked out the window as the two little candy thiefs ran across the garden. "WILL! MIA! COME BACK HERE!" she yelled frustrated. The little duo just laughed and kept running. The candy was theirs. They were gonna share it in the secret hiding spot in the woods. Suddenly something tangly closed around them and they fell and tumbled on top of each other. "We're caught in a net!" Will screamed. They didn't know that after last time they stole candy their mother had put traps in the garden. One of them triggered a net that would catch them. "Stay calm, Will! I've got this!" Mia took out her Swiss army knife and started cutting the net up frantically as she watched her mother approach from the porch. A few seconds before Maddy would've gotten to them Mia managed to get free and ran. Will cried out after her. "SAVE YOURSELF!" Mia yelled as she looked back at her trapped little brother. She suddenly hit something tall and fell on her back. She looked up and saw her grandmother towering over her. "Now, Mia. I didn't teach you all of these things just to leave your brother behind. Go back and get him and start over next week."
