The Box

The contents of the box were never shown to anyone. It had been put there 76 years ago by a little girl. She had sealed it with a blue ribbon and written on it that if you opened it you'd be cursed for life and misfortune would follow you where ever you went. But the contents of the box wanted to be found. Everyday the box hoped to be opened, to be discovered, to show the beauty it hid on the inside. But it had been placed in a deep dark corner of an attic. It was choking under layers of dust and its colour had faded. It hoped one day someone would be brave enough to open it despite the nasty words on its exterior.
