She was holding on to all her should've, would've, could've's that she couldn't hold on to much else.

Day in and day out they just piled on top of each other.

Each passed opportunity, each conflict avoided, each dream slowly withering away added to her heavy load.

One day she stumbled over a big opportunity and all the should've, would've, could'ves tumbled down on the road and ran away from her like cheeky little escape artists.

She tried to catch some of them because they were all she knew.

They were her friends and it was easy not grabbing new chances when she could excuse herself with having her hands full.

But now they were gone and she was lying on the ground.

She turned around and looked the big opportunity right in the eye.

It turned into a fluffy creature with sharp teeth and adorable eyes. It made a cute squeeky sound making you want to take care of it.

But its teeth looked deadly.

However, she still had an urge to grab it.

Suddenly something came over her.

The feeling of bravery swelled up inside her chest and she quickly got on her feet and ran after the little creature of opportunity.

She got closer and closer and jumped for it.

She caught it.

She wrestled with it for a bit, crushing a few of the should've, would've, could'ves who were curious and had come back to see her next move.

Finally, the creature calmed down.

They both got up and walked down the road hand in hand.

And she felt light as ever.
