"You're putting too much pressure on it, honey. Just put it down for now." she smiled at her daughter. "I can't put it down, mum. I just picked it up. Putting it down would be stupid." she said, her face composed in a strained manner. "With the way you're holding it, it's going to crash. Honey, listen to me. You can pick it up later." she said and put a hand on her daugter's shoulder. "What if it's too late? What if I should just get my shit together right now and push through?" she asked, her arms getting weaker and weaker. "Sometimes you got to put things down to see them from a new perspective in order to know what to do. Here, let me help you. I'll help you pick it up again." she came closer to help her daughter. "But what if I can't pick it up again then? What if this is it?" "Well, then it wasn't meant to be."
