Miss Goldman's Fault

"And why would you want do that?" Miss Goldman said and put her hands on her hips. "Because it's for science." Luke answered and stared right back at her. "I really can't let you. It's my property." Miss Goldman said keeping eye contact with Luke. "Isn't that exactly the reason why you are able to let me do this?" Luke argued. "Good one, young man. Let me rephrase. I don't want you to carry out your experiments on my property." Miss Goldman was standing still as a rock staring down the little boy. "Well, I hope you're happy that the world will never know what could've been discovered here." Luke said and started picking up his gear and putting it in his big bag. "I'm sure the world will survive." Miss Goldman said and relaxed a little as the boy picked up his stuff. "Actually, it won't, Miss Goldman and it'll all be your fault." Luke said and disappeared through the hole in the hedge.
