Leaping

"It's strange how seeing her face makes everything seem better. Cause you know, she's just a person." she said. "And why do you think that is?" he asked. "I'm not sure. There's just something about her that makes me feel like I don't have to perform anymore. Like it's okay to laugh ugly or to order the biggest burger on the menu and eat it like an animal, you know." He laughed. "Yeah, I know it's silly." she said. He squeezed her hand. "I'm sorry, you can't be with her." he said and meant it. "It's okay. I was never meant to be with anybody." she replied. They looked down onto the ground from the helicopter they were in. They heard the count down in their earphones and lept into the air hand in hand.
