She'd always envied her. It was an ugly feeling to live with. It would eat her up from the inside, her grandmother always said. She'd tried to fight it. She'd written down reasons not to be jealous. Her mother even sent her to therapy. But one it was over. She couldn't fight it anymore. She was brought to the hospital in an ambulance. They said all her internal organs were failing. The doctors tried all the different treatments they could come up with, denying her explanation that it was the jealousy eating her up from the inside. On the fifth day breathing became a difficult task and she knew the end was near. She was to leave this Earth because she had never learned to be content with who she was herself. Always wanting what others wanted, what she wanted more specifically. She'd wasted her life wishing her life hadn't been hers, that her life had been different. Her family were gathered around her, sobbing. Preparing for what nothing could prepare them for when she closed her eyes one last time.
