"How does one fly?" asked the little boy the teacher. "Jump off a roof and believe in yourself." the teacher said sarcastically. The next day the boy found him on the roof of the school. His toes at the very edge. He looked down on his classmates who were gathered down below. They were all yelling, but he couldn't make out exactly what they said. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Just jump and believe in yourself." he said to himself. He clenched his fist. Felt his heart racing. His breath was short and quick again. He looked down on the small children below him. He was going to fly right over them. Right? They'd all be in awe when it worked out. Cause it had to work out. He had to fly. He had to at least try. He took in another deep breath. Spread out his arms. Closed his eyes. He leaned forward. It took all he had, but he let himself lean forward past the point where he could go back. There was no going back now. Suddenly he felt two strong hands around him and he was pulled back so hard the air was almost knocked right out of him.
