The streets were still full of potential. They were laying bare below her but bursting with the wish of what could be. In her mind they had become a little brighter, a little cosier and a little more perfect. Distance makes the heart grow fonder and she smiled as the plane circled over the golden lights below. Could this become hers? Would she know every corner like the back of her hand? Could this be home?
