Blizzard

There was no getting through this blizzard. It was the biggest one of the year. He was going to miss it. The party, the surprise, everything. They had several times on the radio that after this blizzard the roads would be closed for weeks. It was getting more and more difficult to clear the roads. There was no money to repair them so the machines paving the way for him and his workers kept breaking down. He had considered just going anyway, but he knew they needed him there. He was the leader of the group and he honestly didn't know if these men could do it on their own. Last time this happened and they were snowed in Steve had almost killed Lenny. It was brutal. He hated that this was what the world had come to. Extreme weather had brought the worst out in people. And there was no escape from it.
