Being That Somebody

"Why did you do it?"

"Because I could."

"That's not a good enough reason."

"Well, my dad thinks it is."

"I don't care about what your dad thinks."

"And I don't care about what you think. Isn't it a wonderful world?"

"I don't like that you don't care."

"I don't care that you don't like I don't care."

"Why are we even having this discussion?"

"Because you started talking to me."

"I didn't. You started by doing it."

"Just because I did it, doesn't mean, you have to talk to me about it."

"Maybe not. But somebody had to say something. And I'm usually that somebody."

"Isn't it exhausting being that somebody?"
