It happened on a Sunday. She'd never forget it. The unicorn just stood there in her kitchen and cooked bacon. When she asked it why it was cooking bacon, it just answered that bacon was worth more than gold. People just didn't get that. That's why they hunted the unicorns. Because they thought they would lead them to good, but they all had gold in their fridges at home, they just didn't realise it. The unicorn had kicked her when she'd tried to stroke its beautiful neck. No touching, it had said, only look. It was tired of people feeling like they could touch it just because it was shiny and beautiful. The woman apologised and rubbed her sore thigh. The unicorn wasn't chatty, so eventually she gave up conversation and went to the living room and rewatched FRIENDS. After a while the unicorn came and joined her. It reeked of bacon. It all felt very odd to the woman.
