She hadn't been there in years. Everything reminded her of him. They'd come there together when they were younger. Time had seemed endless and they thought that they outside world was at their feet. Her friends had convinced to come back. They thought it would be a healing experience to create new memories there. They were wrong. To hear people order the beer he always ordered to a tiny picture hung above the bar that he had once pointed at and commented made her heart sink. She promised herself she would have one beer and then leave. She made small talk with her friends. She tried to focus on them and not the memories that came rushing in at every moment. Suddenly she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around to see who it was. It was like the ground was ripped away from under her. "Gary? But.. but you're dead!" she yelled not believing her eyes. "Haha, gotcha!" Gary said and moonwalked out of the bar with a smirk on his face.
