"A or B, Little Girl?"

"You can choose either A or B." the little gnome said. "I choose both." the girl answered. "You can't choose both, stupid little girl." the gnome said angrily. "Well, I do." the girls insisted. "You can't. It's impossible." the gnome said getting more irritated with the silly little girl. "But I choose both. Cause I don't know which one to pick." the girl said. "Then you get neither and the game changes completely." the gnome said. "But I want to keep playing! I just want both outcomes." the girl pleaded. "It doesn't work that way, darling." the gnome said and started packing up his things. "You can't just leave me here!" the girl said, suddenly scared. The vast dark, purple forest loomed in front of her. "Okay... One last time. A or B?" the gnome said and locked eyes with the girl. "Please. I can't choose. Why can't I have both?" the girl asked. The gnome sighed and rolled his eyes and ran off into the forest with the words: "The game has changed. Good luck, stupid girl!"
