Tom had never been a happy man and therefore he found himself a grumpy wife. She bore him three miserable children. When the children moved out they filled the deeply depressing void their absence created with a very angry dog. After a short while they had to put the dog down, because it had bit the neighbor's child. Their children had also bit the child next door, but you can't put down children now, can you. So their children survived and went off to do horrible degrees. The grumpy wife got bored with her marriage and life and joined a pyromania club. One day she was arrested and put into jail where she had the most horrific time of her life. Meanwhile Tom became a buddhist. Mainly because he was pressured by the beautiful woman at his office. But that didn't really work out for him, so he stopped after a while and took up fist fighting behind the local pub which made him even more unhappy because he never won a fight.
