Ella had just moved to this new, vibrant city and she knew no one. It was freeing and terrifying. She had started her new job a few days ago and everybody had been extremely nice to her. She'd been there for two weeks and before she left she had told herself that this was a chance to start over. But still, she had reverted back to her old ways as soon as she set foot in her new country. The many hours on the plane hadn't put some magic spell on her. She'd had to do the work, if she wanted to change. Earlier this evening she had walked home from having beers with her colleagues when she heard the most enchanting rythms coming from a club in a courtyard. She had followed the music and looked into the courtyard at people dancing under multicoloured light bulbs. She had smiled at the joy she saw and just as she turned around to walk away a little hand took hers. She looked down at the most adorable little girl with big brown eyes and a pony tail that had been danced out of its original placing. "Come along." the little girl said and pulled Ella's hand. "I really can't, but thank you." she said and let go of the girl's hand. But the girl didn't let Ella's hand go. "It's okay. I can have guests over." the little girl said. Ella sat down to talk to the little girl. "What's your name?" she asked. "Sara." the little girl said. "Sara, I really appreciate it, but I don't know anybody in there. I don't think it's a good idea to bring strangers to your party. But you go have fun!" Ella said. "Strangers are just friends you haven't talked to yet, my dad says." Sara countered. "That's nice, but that's also gonna get you kidnapped some day." Ella answered. Sara made big eyes at the word 'kidnapped' and turned on her heel and ran away from Ella.
