It hit her like a hammer. Out of the blue. It stood on her chest. She could barely breathe. She felt her hands weak by her side and fighting it was hopeless. She had to give in to the little monster weighing her down. She tried arguing with it. She said nice things to get it off her. But it stayed put and told her even meaner stuff than when it attacked. She tried meditating her way out of her current situation but then the monster blew air into her ears. She tried to get to know the little monster but it was secretive and denied telling her where it was from or what its intentions were. It was just sitting there, stubbornly keeping her down. She wondered if this was it for her. If she had to live with this little creature forever now. She managed to wiggle her phone out of her pocket while the monster was distracted by something and texted a few friends. The friends came into the room not long after. The monster was terrified when seeing them and clung to her desperately. Her friends pulled and pulled and she kicked and finally the little creature let go and ran off. Sure enough, it ran off screaming it would be back as long as she didn't mold it into something else, but it was gone for now and that gave her time to prepare for the next attack.
