"Why can't I go home, Karen?" "Oh, you just can't" Karen said and smiled slyly. "Did you plan a surprise party for me at my flat?" Helena asked her. Karen froze for a second and then shook her head. "Nooooooo. Nothing of the sorts. I know you hate surprises." "Great! Then I'm gonna go home and eat ice cream and enjoy being one step closer to death on my own." "Oh no, you can't!" Karen said and stepped in front of the office exit dramatically. "Just tell me if there's a surprise party at my flat, Karen. Please." "If I told you, I'd have to kill you." Karen joked. "Please do." Helena said and rolled her eyes. "Come on, it'll be fun, you party pooper." Karen said. "Ooooh, so there IS a party?" Helena questioned. "No, there's not." Karen denied. "Well, how can I be a party pooper if there's no party?" "Okay, Helena! There's a party! Now we're gonna go back to your place, you're gonna stop being a little bitch and you're gonna act surprised, okay? Because unlike what you think, there are people here who actually care about you." Helena was shocked. She'd never heard Karen talk that way before. "O-okay." she said and took her coat and followed Karen out the door.
