A Captured Horse

The horse knew it would never be free again. It would never roam around on the prairie again. It would never feel the wind and the sun the same way again. It had a name now. It'd never had a name before. It belonged to someone. But it didn't know who. The horse accepted its fate. It wasn't going to fight it. It had never really been a fighter. The best thing would be to just go with whatever life handed you, the horse believed. It was a stupid horse, really.
