A: "You're not the person, I remember."

B: "That's because you don't know me."

A: "Anymore."

B: "No, not anymore. You don't know me... In fact. You never did."

(A puts on "I Don't Know You Anymore." by Savage Garden)

B: "Stop doing that."

A: "But it's funny."

B: "Yeah, it is."

(They listen to the entire sing sitting next to each other.)

A: "So you were saying?"

B: "Oh yeah, you don't know me. You never did."

A: "Have you changed?"

B: "Of course, I have."

A: "Well, so have I. Do you feel like you don't know me anymore?"

B: "No, cause you're still you no matter what."

A: "Exactly."

B: "But that's because it's you."

A: "So only you are capable of complete change?"

B: "Probably not only me."

A: "Who else?"

B: "How would I know?"

A: "Yeah, you don't know."

B: "No, I don't."

A: "Because there isn't anybody capable of it."

B: "Well, that backfired."

A: "Yeah, it did. So shut up about it."

B: "Hm."

A: "What's the point of this interaction anyway?"

B: "I'm not sure. But I have a feeling that whoever has created us is going to make it a bit meta again. She seems to enjoy that these days. Weirdo."

(A nods in agreement. Writer goes to bed and leaves A and B alone.)
